A little more clarity
A small amount, from cacao. Cozy is made without coffee or black tea and has no added caffeine, but each 10 g serving includes 350 mg of cacao powder, which naturally contains some caffeine and theobromine. Using a published USDA value for cocoa powder, that works out to about 0.8 mg of caffeine per serving. It is an estimate, not a lab test of Cozy. If you are very sensitive to caffeine, try your first cup earlier in the day.
Per 10 g serving, Cozy's adaptogenic botanicals are ashwagandha (400 mg), maca (400 mg), tulsi or holy basil (300 mg), shatavari (300 mg) and mucuna (300 mg), plus two functional mushrooms: lion's mane and reishi spore extract (500 mg each). Ashwagandha, tulsi, shatavari and mucuna come from Ayurveda, maca from the Andes, and reishi and lion's mane from East Asian tradition.
For the creamiest cup, use warm plant milk instead of water. Add the powder to your mug, pour in a splash of the warm liquid and stir it into a smooth paste, then top up and stir again. A small whisk or handheld frother gives it a foamy, café-style top. Hot water makes a lighter cup.
Yes. We suggest a cup between meals or before bed, and an evening cup is a lovely way to slow down. Cozy is a warm drink, not a sleep aid, and it contains a little cacao, so if you are very sensitive to caffeine, see the caffeine answer above. If sleep support is your goal, Hush is our sleep gummy, made with a micro-dose of melatonin, and many Cozy customers order the two together.
Each bag holds 30 servings of 1 heaping tablespoon (10 g). At one cup a day, that is about a month. If you like a stronger cup with 2 heaping tablespoons, a bag lasts about 15 days. For a steady supply, the monthly subscription is 25% off the one-time price. It renews and charges automatically each month until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from your account.
The Cozy bag is labeled vegan. Its creamy texture comes from coconut milk powder and MCT oil powder (from coconut), and it contains coconut.
